Jennifer Eve Garth (born April 3, 1972) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Kelly Taylor on the Fox television series Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990–2000). Garth also starred in the sitcom What I Like About You (2002–2006) alongside Amanda Bynes.

Garth was born in Urbana, Illinois, to John and Carolyn Garth. She grew up on a 25-acre horse ranch in Arcola, Illinois, with her six older half-siblings. The family later moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where Garth was discovered by a talent scout.

Early Career[edit | edit source]

Garth began her career with small roles in television series such as Growing Pains and Teen Angel. Her big break came in 1990 when she was cast as Kelly Taylor in Beverly Hills, 90210. The show became a cultural phenomenon and Garth's character was a central figure throughout its ten-year run.

Post-90210 Career[edit | edit source]

After Beverly Hills, 90210 ended, Garth continued to work in television. She starred in the sitcom What I Like About You from 2002 to 2006. She also appeared in various television movies and made guest appearances on shows such as Community and Mystery Girls.

Reality Television[edit | edit source]

In 2007, Garth competed on the fifth season of Dancing with the Stars, finishing in fourth place. She also starred in her own reality show, Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country, which aired on CMT in 2012.

Garth has been married three times. She was first married to musician Daniel B. Clark from 1994 to 1996. She then married actor Peter Facinelli in 2001, with whom she has three daughters. The couple divorced in 2013. In 2015, Garth married actor Dave Abrams.

Garth is involved in various charitable activities. She has worked with organizations such as the American Heart Association and Stand Up to Cancer.
