Josef Coresh

Josef Coresh is a prominent figure in the field of epidemiology, particularly known for his contributions to the understanding of kidney disease and its risk factors. He has played a crucial role in developing and refining measures for kidney function, which have been instrumental in both clinical practice and research settings. Born in Israel, Coresh completed his medical degree at the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem. He later moved to the United States for further training and research opportunities. Coresh earned a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he has remained a key faculty member.
