Journal of Cytology is a peer-reviewed medical journal that publishes articles in the field of Cytology. The journal is published by the Indian Academy of Cytologists.

The Journal of Cytology is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality original research articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. in all areas of cytology including gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology. The journal aims to provide a platform for the exchange of scientific information between researchers, clinicians, and educators in the field of cytology.

The scope of the Journal of Cytology includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: Cell Biology, Histology, Pathology, Immunocytochemistry, Molecular Cytology, Cancer Cytology, Diagnostic Cytology, Prognostic Cytology, Preventive Cytology, Cytogenetics, Cytopathology, and Cytotechnology.
