Journal of Public Health Policy is a peer-reviewed academic journal that covers the field of public health. The journal's editor-in-chief is Anthony Robbins (Tufts University School of Medicine). It is published by Palgrave Macmillan.

The Journal of Public Health Policy offers an exciting platform for discussing controversy and framing policy debate, and especially honing policies to solve global health challenges. The journal publishes rigorous and accessible articles on all aspects of public health policy.

The journal was established in 1980 by Milton Terris, who was its editor for the first 19 years. The journal is abstracted and indexed in Scopus and the Social Sciences Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2019 impact factor of 1.826.

The journal publishes original scientific work related to strategic and operational aspects of health policies and services. It also publishes literature reviews, short reports, and letters to the editor. The journal is particularly interested in policy-relevant papers from any discipline that can contribute to improving health and wellbeing, preventing ill health, and tackling health inequalities.
