Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park is a science fiction adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg and based on the 1990 novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. The film was released on June 11, 1993, and became a major box office success, spawning a franchise that includes sequels, merchandise, and theme park attractions.

The story is set on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, located off Central America's Pacific Coast, near Costa Rica. The island is home to a wildlife park of cloned dinosaurs, created by the bioengineering company InGen, founded by John Hammond. The park's security systems fail, leading to a catastrophic series of events.
