Kalawao County is located on the island of Molokai in the U.S. state of Hawaii. It is the smallest county by land area and population in the United States. The county is unique in that it is coextensive with the Kalaupapa National Historical Park, and does not have its own county government. Instead, it is administratively part of Maui County.
