King and Queen County is a county located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 6,945. Its county seat is located in the community of King and Queen Court House.

King and Queen County is located in the eastern part of Virginia, bordered by the Mattaponi River to the north and the York River to the south. The county is predominantly rural, with forests, farms, and small towns.

The county was established in 1691 from New Kent County. The name of the county is a reference to King William III and Queen Mary II of England.

As of the 2010 census, there were 6,945 people, 2,662 households, and 1,897 families residing in the county.
