The Kingsport–Bristol–Bristol Metropolitan Area, officially known as the Kingsport–Bristol–Bristol, TN-VA Metropolitan Statistical Area, is a metropolitan statistical area (MSA) in the states of Tennessee and Virginia. This region encompasses the cities of Kingsport, Bristol, TN, and Bristol, VA, along with surrounding areas. It is part of a larger region known as the Tri-Cities area, which also includes the city of Johnson City.
