Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! (Buono! song)
Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! is a single by the Japanese pop group Buono!, which is a trio consisting of Momoko Tsugunaga, Miyabi Natsuyaki, and Airi Suzuki. These members were originally part of Hello! Project acts Berryz Kobo, Cute, and Hello! Project Kids respectively. The song "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" was released under the Pony Canyon label on May 14, 2008, serving as the group's third single.
Overview[edit | edit source]
"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" continued Buono!'s trend of releasing energetic pop songs with a rock influence, a signature sound that had been established with their previous singles. The song was used as an ending theme for the anime Shugo Chara!, further cementing Buono!'s connection to the series as their previous singles were also associated with it. This relationship with an anime series helped in promoting the song to a wider audience, particularly among fans of the show.
The single was released in two versions: a Limited Edition with a DVD containing music video clips and a Regular Edition with just the CD. The coupling track for the single was "Minna Daisuki", and instrumental versions of both songs were also included.

Buono! and Hello! Project[edit | edit source]
Buono! was formed as a part of the Hello! Project, a collective of female singers and idol groups produced by Tsunku. The group's formation was announced in 2007, and they quickly became known for their rock-infused pop music. Despite being a side project for its members, Buono! garnered a significant following, both within and outside the Hello! Project fanbase, thanks to their catchy songs and dynamic performances.
Legacy[edit | edit source]
"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" stands as a testament to Buono!'s impact on the J-pop scene during their active years. The song's association with "Shugo Chara!" helped in bridging the gap between anime fans and J-pop enthusiasts, showcasing the potential for cross-media promotion. Buono!'s music, including "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!", continues to be celebrated by fans for its energy, catchiness, and the unique place it holds in the history of Hello! Project.
