Kopparbergs Brewery was established in 1882 by Peter Bronsman in the small town of Kopparberg, Sweden. Initially, the brewery focused on producing traditional Swedish cider using locally sourced apples. Over the years, the company expanded its product line to include various types of beer and other alcoholic beverages.
In 1994, Kopparbergs Brewery introduced its popular fruit cider range, which quickly gained popularity both in Sweden and internationally. The fruit ciders are made from a blend of fermented apple juice and various fruits, such as strawberries, raspberries, and mixed berries. These refreshing and flavorful ciders became a signature product for the brewery.
