Plot[edit | edit source]

The story is set in the picturesque city of Lucknow, where Dr. Ashutosh, a middle-aged, brooding surgeon, meets Dr. Nidhi Verma, a cheerful young intern. Dr. Ashutosh works at Kotnis General Hospital and is known for his dedication and aloofness. Nidhi, 24 years younger than Ashutosh, brings a breath of fresh air into his monotonous life. Cast[edit | edit source]

Production[edit | edit source]

The series was produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner of Director's Kut Productions. It was directed by Mandar Devasthali and written by Kamlesh Pandey, who was instrumental in adapting the story to suit the Indian audience while retaining the essence of the original Pakistani drama.

Reception[edit | edit source]

Kuch Toh Log Kahenge received a positive response from viewers and critics alike for its mature storytelling, the chemistry between the leads, and the handling of a sensitive subject like an age-gap relationship with grace and dignity. The performances of the lead actors, especially Kritika Kamra and Mohnish Bahl, were widely appreciated.

Themes[edit | edit source]

The show explores themes such as love transcending age barriers, societal norms, the dilemmas faced by individuals in love, and the importance of understanding and compromise in a relationship. It also touches upon the dynamics of hospital life and the ethical dilemmas faced by medical professionals.

Legacy[edit | edit source]
