Lawrenceburg, Indiana is a city in Dearborn County, Indiana, United States. The city is the county seat of Dearborn County and is located in the southeastern part of the state, near the border of Kentucky.

Lawrenceburg was founded in 1802 and was named after the maiden name of the wife of the founder. The city has a rich history, with many historic buildings and sites. The Downtown Lawrenceburg Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
