Legio XI Claudia was a Roman legion that was founded by Julius Caesar in 58 BC. The legion was initially raised to fight in the Gallic Wars and later played a significant role in the Roman Civil War on the side of Caesar. The emblem of the legion was the bull, a symbol commonly associated with Caesar's legions.
