Legit (2013 TV series)
Legit is an American comedy television series created by Jim Jefferies, Peter O'Fallon, and Rick Cleveland. The series premiered on FX on January 17, 2013, and later moved to FXX for its second season. The show stars Jim Jefferies as a fictionalized version of himself, along with Dan Bakkedahl and DJ Qualls.

The series follows Jim Jefferies as he attempts to become more legitimate in his life, both personally and professionally. He is often accompanied by his best friend Steve Nugent (played by Dan Bakkedahl) and Steve's brother Billy Nugent (played by DJ Qualls), who has muscular dystrophy. The show explores themes of friendship, family, and the struggles of living with a disability.

Cancellation[edit | edit source]
On May 14, 2014, FXX announced that Legit would not be renewed for a third season. The series concluded with its final episode airing on May 14, 2014.
