Liaoning
Liaoning is a province of the People's Republic of China, located in the northeastern part of the country. The provincial capital and largest city is Shenyang. Liaoning is the southernmost province of Northeast China and is also known as the "gateway to the Northeast".

Liaoning has a rich history, with the earliest archaeological findings dating back to the Paleolithic Age. The area was part of several ancient Chinese dynasties, including the Qin Dynasty, Han Dynasty, and Tang Dynasty. In the early 20th century, Liaoning was a major center of industry and commerce in China.

Liaoning is located in the southern part of Northeast China, bordering the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea to the south. The province is characterized by its coastal plains, mountain ranges, and river valleys. The highest point in Liaoning is Mount Huabozi, which stands at 1,336 meters above sea level.

Liaoning's economy is one of the most developed in China, with a strong focus on heavy industry. The province is a major producer of coal, oil, and natural gas, and is also home to China's largest fishing fleet. Other key industries in Liaoning include machinery manufacturing, chemical production, and textiles.
