A pastry chef or pâtissier is a professional who specializes in the creation of pastries, desserts, breads and other baked goods. They are employed in large hotels, bistros, restaurants, bakeries, and some cafés. This article provides a list of notable pastry chefs from around the world.

- Pierre Hermé - Known as the "Picasso of Pastry", Pierre Hermé is a French pastry chef who is renowned for his artistic approach to pastry-making. He has been awarded the title of World's Best Pastry Chef by the World's 50 Best Restaurants list.
- Dominique Ansel - A French-American pastry chef and owner of Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York City. He is best known for creating the "Cronut", a croissant-doughnut hybrid.
- Claire Clark - An English pastry chef who has worked at a number of Michelin-starred restaurants and has been named as one of the top ten pastry chefs in the world.
- Adriano Zumbo - An Australian pâtissier and chef, known for his challenging desserts on MasterChef Australia and his own television series, Zumbo's Just Desserts.
- Christophe Michalak - A French pastry chef and winner of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie in 2005. He is known for his modern and innovative approach to pastry.
- Gaston Lenôtre - A French pastry chef who is considered to be one of the most important pastry chefs of the 20th century. He is known for his contributions to the development of French pastry.
