Local Tide refers to the phenomenon of the rise and fall of sea levels caused by the gravitational forces exerted by the Moon and the Sun, and the rotation of the Earth. Tides are a complex system that can vary from place to place around the world's oceans and seas. The local tide, specifically, is the manifestation of this phenomenon in a particular location, influenced by the geographical features of the area, such as the shape of the coastline, local water depth, and ocean floor topography.
