London Overground
London Overground is a suburban rail network serving London and its surrounding areas. It is part of the National Rail network and is operated by Arriva Rail London under the franchise of Transport for London (TfL). The network was established to improve rail services in the capital and to provide better connectivity between different parts of London.

The London Overground was launched in 2007, taking over from the Silverlink franchise. The initial network included the North London Line, West London Line, Gospel Oak to Barking Line, and the Watford DC Line. Over the years, the network has expanded to include additional lines and services.
Network[edit | edit source]
The London Overground network consists of several lines, each serving different parts of London and its suburbs. The key lines include:
- North London Line: Running from Richmond to Stratford.
- West London Line: Connecting Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction.
- Gospel Oak to Barking Line: Running from Gospel Oak to Barking.
- Watford DC Line: Connecting Watford Junction to Euston.
- East London Line: Running from Highbury & Islington to New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace.
