Los Gatos
Los Gatos is an incorporated town in Santa Clara County, California, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The town is situated in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains and is known for its historic downtown, upscale shops, and scenic beauty.

Los Gatos was originally named La Rinconada de Los Gatos, which means "The Corner of the Cats" in Spanish. The name was inspired by the mountain lions and bobcats that roamed the area. The town was founded in the mid-19th century and became a hub for the logging industry. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it evolved into a popular summer retreat for wealthy San Franciscans.
