History[edit | edit source]
The Luzianne brand was established in 1932 by William B. Reily, who recognized the potential for a specially blended tea that could withstand the rigors of brewing in hot, Southern kitchens. The name "Luzianne" is a portmanteau of "Louisiana," the state where the brand was born.
