Lynebank Hospital is a specialist health facility located in Halbeath Road, Dunfermline, Scotland. It was established in 1969 and is managed by NHS Fife.
History[edit | edit source]
Lynebank Hospital was officially opened in May 1969 by Princess Alexandra. It was designed by Alison & Hutchison & Partners and was specifically established to cater to individuals with learning disabilities. In recent years, NHS Fife has entered into a development agreement with Barratt Developments to utilize a portion of the hospital site for residential purposes. The development plans have been expanded since then.
