The MPOB is also responsible for promoting Malaysia's palm oil industry in both domestic and international markets.

Research and Development[edit | edit source]

The MPOB conducts extensive research and development (R&D) activities to improve the productivity and sustainability of the palm oil industry. This includes research on improving oil palm yields, developing new palm oil products, and enhancing the environmental sustainability of palm oil production.

Sustainability[edit | edit source]

The MPOB is committed to promoting sustainable practices in the palm oil industry. It has implemented a number of initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of palm oil production, including promoting the use of environmentally friendly technologies and practices, and encouraging the industry to adopt sustainable palm oil certification.
