Marvel Productions Ltd. was an American animation studio that was a subsidiary of Marvel Entertainment Group. The studio was involved in the production of animated television series, movies, and specials from 1981 to 1993, playing a significant role in bringing many of Marvel Comics' characters to the television screen. Marvel Productions produced a wide range of animated series, including notable titles such as The Transformers, G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, and Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends.

Marvel Productions was established after Cadence Industries, the parent company of Marvel Comics at the time, purchased the DePatie-Freleng Enterprises animation studio in 1981. The acquisition was part of Marvel's strategy to expand its brand into other media formats. Under the leadership of Margaret Loesch, Marvel Productions sought to capitalize on the popularity of Marvel's comic book characters, as well as to create original content.

During its operation, Marvel Productions collaborated with several other companies, including Sunbow Productions to produce G.I. Joe and The Transformers, which became two of the most popular animated series in the 1980s. The studio also worked on adaptations of non-Marvel properties, such as The Incredible Hulk, Dungeons & Dragons, and My Little Pony.
