McFit
McFit is a German-based chain of fitness centers, founded in 1997 by Rainer Schaller. It is one of the largest fitness center chains in Europe, with numerous locations across several countries.

McFit was established in 1997 in Würzburg, Germany. The founder, Rainer Schaller, aimed to create a fitness center that offered affordable membership fees while maintaining high-quality equipment and facilities. The concept quickly gained popularity, leading to rapid expansion across Germany and later into other European countries.

After its initial success in Germany, McFit expanded into other European markets. The first international location was opened in Austria in 2009, followed by gyms in Spain, Italy, and Poland. As of 2023, McFit operates over 250 fitness centers across Europe.
