Merriam-Webster Dictionary
Merriam-Webster Dictionary is an American dictionary of English language that is published by Merriam-Webster. It is one of the most widely recognized and respected dictionaries in the world.

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary was first published in 1828 by Noah Webster under the name An American Dictionary of the English Language. After Webster's death in 1843, the company was bought by George and Charles Merriam and became known as Merriam-Webster.

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary contains more than 400,000 entries, including words, phrases, and idioms. It also includes definitions, etymologies, and pronunciation guides. The dictionary is updated regularly to include new words and meanings, reflecting changes in the English language.
