Mervyn Johns (18 February 1899 – 6 September 1992) was a distinguished Welsh actor known for his work in British cinema and theatre during the mid-20th century. Born in Pembroke, Wales, Johns embarked on his acting career in the 1920s, quickly establishing himself as a versatile performer capable of embodying a wide range of characters. He is perhaps best remembered for his role as Bob Cratchit in the 1951 film adaptation of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol.
