Micromania

Micromania is a French video game retailer which is owned by GameStop. It is one of the largest video game retail companies in France, with over 400 stores across the country. The company was founded in 1983 and has since expanded to offer a wide range of video games, consoles, and accessories.

Micromania was founded in 1983 by Albert Loridan. The company initially started as a mail order business, selling video games through catalogues. In 1987, the company opened its first physical store in Paris.

In 2008, Micromania was acquired by GameStop, an American video game retailer. This acquisition allowed Micromania to expand its product range and increase its presence in the French market.

Micromania offers a wide range of products and services related to video games. This includes new and used video games, consoles, and accessories. The company also offers a loyalty program, known as the Mégacarte, which allows customers to earn points on their purchases and receive discounts on future purchases.

In addition to physical products, Micromania also offers digital services. This includes the sale of digital games and downloadable content (DLC). The company also provides a platform for customers to trade in their used games and consoles.
