Miner County, South Dakota
Miner County is a county located in the U.S. state of South Dakota. Established in 1873, it was named after Nelson Miner and Ephriam Miner, settlers who were influential in the creation of the Dakota Territory. The county seat and largest city is Howard.

Miner County encompasses a total area of 572 square miles, of which 570 square miles is land and 2.2 square miles is water. The county's geographic features include rolling hills and fertile soil, making it predominantly agricultural.
