The Mirwais Hospital, also known as Shafakhanai Chinai, is a general hospital located in the city of Kandahar, Afghanistan. It is operated by the Afghan government and is affiliated with Kandahar University. The hospital has 600 beds and was constructed in 1979 with aid from China. However, years of fighting in the region have affected its services. The hospital was damaged during the unrest in the country but was rebuilt by the International Committee of the Red Cross in 1995. It receives 70% of its funding from the Red Cross and has about 30 expatriate staff permanently working at the hospital. Despite this, the hospital faces challenges due to a lack of proper facilities and resources.

Mirwais Hospital provides a range of services, including a 150-bed surgical unit, three operating theaters, a blood bank, an X-ray department, and kitchen and laundry facilities. It serves not only the people of Kandahar province but also patients from neighboring provinces such as Helmand, Zabul, and Oruzgan.
