- Montrose is a city located in Wright County, Minnesota, United States. The city is part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 2,847.

- Montrose is located at 45°4′20″N 93°54′50″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.07 square miles, all of it land.
History[edit | edit source]
- Montrose was platted in 1878, and named after Montrose, in Scotland. The city was incorporated in 1881.
