History[edit | edit source]

They purchased the Bruichladdich distillery on the Isle of Islay in 2000, which had been closed since 1994. This acquisition allowed them to produce their own whisky in addition to their independent bottling operations.
Operations[edit | edit source]
Murray McDavid offers a range of single malt, grain, and blended Scotch whiskies. The company is known for its innovative approach to cask maturation and finishing. They use a variety of cask types, including sherry, bourbon, and wine barrels, to mature their whiskies. This results in a diverse range of flavor profiles across their product line.
