Musa salaccensis is a species of wild banana native to Southeast Asia. It is a member of the genus Musa, which includes both the wild and cultivated bananas and plantains.

Musa salaccensis is a perennial herb that grows up to 3-6 meters tall. The leaves are large, up to 3 meters long and 60 cm wide. The fruit is small, about 10 cm long, and has a distinctive red color.
