Nadia Sawalha

Nadia Sawalha was born on 18 November 1964 in Wandsworth, London, England. She is the daughter of actor Nadim Sawalha and his wife Roberta Lane. Nadia has two sisters, Julia Sawalha, who is also an actress, and Dina Sawalha. She grew up in a family with a strong connection to the entertainment industry.

Television[edit | edit source]
Nadia Sawalha began her television career in the late 1980s. She is best known for her role as Annie Palmer on the BBC soap opera EastEnders, which she played from 1997 to 1999. After leaving EastEnders, Nadia became a regular presenter on the ITV daytime show Loose Women, where she has been a panelist on and off since 1999.
In addition to her work on Loose Women, Nadia has appeared on various other television programs. She won the 2007 series of Celebrity MasterChef and has since presented several cooking shows, including Nadia's Family Feasts and Nadia's Family Kitchen.

Nadia Sawalha has also appeared in several films, although her film career is not as extensive as her television work. She has taken on roles in both British and international productions.
Personal Life[edit | edit source]
Nadia Sawalha married her first husband, Justin Mildwater, in 1992. Tragically, Justin died in 1997. In 2002, Nadia married her second husband, television producer Mark Adderley. The couple has two daughters together.
Nadia is known for her openness about personal issues, including her struggles with weight and mental health. She has been an advocate for body positivity and mental health awareness.
