Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) is one of the leading beverage manufacturing companies in Namibia and indeed in Southern Africa. The company, a subsidiary of the Ohlthaver & List Group, was founded in 1920 in Windhoek, Namibia.

NBL has a rich history that dates back to 1920. The company was established following the merger of several breweries in Namibia, which were struggling to survive independently. The merger led to the formation of South West Breweries Limited (SWB), which was later renamed Namibia Breweries Limited after Namibia gained independence.
Products[edit | edit source]
NBL produces a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The company's product portfolio includes beers, soft drinks, and bottled water. Some of the popular beer brands produced by NBL include Windhoek Lager, Tafel Lager, and Hansa Draught. The company also produces non-alcoholic beverages under the Vigo brand.
