The Narragansett Brewing Company was founded in 1890 by six German immigrants who had a dream of brewing a beer that would rival the best in Europe. The company quickly became a staple in the New England beer market, with its flagship lager, 'Gansett, becoming the top-selling beer in the region for nearly four decades.
