Negrita is an Italian rock band that was formed in 1991. The band's members include Paolo Bruni (also known as "Pau"), Enrico Salvi (known as "Drigo") and Cesare "Mac" Petricich. Their music can be described as a blend of rock, pop and blues, with lyrics often containing social and personal themes.

Negrita was formed in Arezzo, a city in Tuscany, Italy. The band's name, which means "little black girl" in Spanish, was inspired by the Rolling Stones song "Hey Negrita". Their first album, titled Negrita, was released in 1994. The album was well received and helped establish the band's presence in the Italian music scene.

In 1997, Negrita released their second album, Paradisi Per Illusi. This album was a commercial success and included the hit single "Magnolia". The band continued to gain popularity with the release of their third album, Reset, in 1999. This album included the hit singles "Reset" and "Hollywood".

Over the years, Negrita has released several more albums, including Ehi! Negrita (2003), L'uomo sogna di volare (2005), and Dannato vivere (2011). The band has also received numerous awards for their music, including the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Italian Act in 1999 and 2003.
