Nestlé Lanka is a subsidiary of the global food and beverage conglomerate, Nestlé. Established in 1906, Nestlé Lanka operates in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector in Sri Lanka, providing a variety of food and beverage products to the local market.

Nestlé Lanka was established in 1906 as a trading company. It was incorporated as a private limited liability company in 1973 and became a public company in 1983. The company has been listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange since 1983.

Nestlé Lanka offers a wide range of products across various categories including dairy products, beverages, infant nutrition, and culinary. Some of the popular brands under Nestlé Lanka include Milo, Nestomalt, Maggi, and Milkmaid.

Nestlé Lanka operates a factory in Kurunegala, which is one of the largest milk processing factories in Sri Lanka. The company also has a strong distribution network across the country, reaching out to both urban and rural areas.

Corporate Social Responsibility[edit | edit source]

Nestlé Lanka is involved in various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Sri Lanka. These include the Nestlé Healthy Kids Programme, which aims to improve the nutrition knowledge and physical activity of school children, and the Nestlé Dairy Development Programme, which supports local dairy farmers.
