Nick Curran (September 30, 1977 – October 6, 2012) was an American blues, rockabilly, and rock and roll guitarist and singer. He was known for his fiery guitar playing and powerful singing voice, drawing influences from greats like Little Richard, Guitar Slim, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Curran's music career was marked by a blend of traditional blues, vintage rock 'n' roll, and a punk rock attitude, making him a standout figure in the revival of these genres in the early 21st century.

Nick Curran was born in Biddeford, Maine, and developed an interest in music at a young age, influenced by his father's record collection. Curran's professional music career began in the late 1990s when he joined Ronnie Dawson's band as a guitarist. In 2000, Curran released his debut album, Fixin' Your Head, which was followed by Nitelifes in 2001. In 2004, Curran formed his own band, Nick Curran and the Lowlifes, further cementing his reputation as a powerful live performer and skilled songwriter. His 2010 album, Reform School Girl, released on Eclecto Groove Records, received widespread praise for its authentic retro sound mixed with a modern edge. The album featured a mix of original songs and covers, highlighting Curran's versatility as an artist.
