Nilima Arun Kshirsagar

Nilima Arun Kshirsagar is an eminent Indian clinical pharmacologist and medical academic, known for her contributions to the field of pharmacology and clinical research. She has served as the Dean of E.S.I.S. Medical College and the Director of National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH).

Kshirsagar was born and raised in India. She completed her MBBS and MD in Pharmacology from the University of Mumbai. She later pursued her PhD in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of London.

Career[edit | edit source]

Kshirsagar has held several prestigious positions throughout her career. She served as the Dean of E.S.I.S. Medical College and Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science and Research. She was also the Director of the National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH), Mumbai.

In addition to her administrative roles, Kshirsagar has made significant contributions to the field of pharmacology and clinical research. Her research interests include drug discovery, clinical trials, and pharmacokinetics. She has published numerous research papers in reputed international journals.

Kshirsagar has been the recipient of several awards and honors for her contributions to the field of pharmacology. She was awarded the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize, one of the highest Indian science awards, in 1998 for her contributions to Medical Sciences.
