Northside is a term used in various cities to denote a specific region within the city that is located to the north of the city center. The term is commonly used in cities such as Chicago, Dublin, and Cincinnati to refer to the northern part of the city.

Overview[edit | edit source]

In Chicago, the Northside is known for its vibrant nightlife, diverse food scene, and numerous cultural attractions. It is home to many of the city's most popular neighborhoods, including Lincoln Park, Lakeview, and Wrigleyville. The Northside is also where the Chicago Cubs' home stadium, Wrigley Field, is located.

In Dublin, the Northside is traditionally working-class, although it has seen significant gentrification in recent years. It is home to many of Dublin's most famous landmarks, including Croke Park, the home of the Gaelic Athletic Association, and the General Post Office, the site of the 1916 Easter Rising.
