Nudol

From WikiMD's Food, Medicine & Wellness Encyclopedia

Nudol is a system of anti-ballistic missiles developed by the Russian military-industrial complex. It is part of the A-235 system, which is designed to protect Moscow and the Central Industrial Region from potential air and space attacks. The Nudol project is managed by the Almaz-Antey concern, a leading Russian military-industrial company.

Development[edit | edit source]

The development of the Nudol system began in the early 2000s as part of Russia's efforts to modernize its anti-ballistic missile system. The system is designed to intercept and destroy intercontinental ballistic missiles and other potential threats in space. The Nudol system is a direct response to the development of hypersonic weapons and the militarization of space by other countries.

Features[edit | edit source]

The Nudol system is equipped with a new type of interceptor missile, which is launched from a mobile launcher. The missile is capable of reaching speeds of up to 5.5 kilometers per second. The system also includes a modern radar station, which can detect and track targets at a distance of up to 1,500 kilometers.

Operational Use[edit | edit source]

The Nudol system is currently in the testing phase. It has been successfully tested several times, demonstrating its ability to intercept and destroy targets in space. The system is expected to be fully operational in the near future.
