Oglala, South Dakota is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Oglala Lakota County, in the U.S. state of South Dakota. It is situated on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and is one of the communities that make up the reservation. The population of Oglala was 1,290 as of the 2020 Census.

Oglala is located in the southwestern part of South Dakota, a region characterized by its rolling plains and proximity to the Badlands National Park. The geographic coordinates for Oglala are 43°11′03″N 102°44′10″W.
