OpenNeuro is a free and open platform for sharing neuroimaging data. It is a project of the Stanford Center for Reproducible Neuroscience, and is funded by the National Institute of Mental Health.

Overview[edit | edit source]

OpenNeuro facilitates the sharing and analysis of neuroimaging data. It allows researchers to upload their raw, unprocessed data, as well as any associated metadata. The platform supports a wide range of neuroimaging data types, including MRI, fMRI, DTI, and MEG.

Features[edit | edit source]

OpenNeuro offers a number of features designed to make it easier for researchers to share and analyze neuroimaging data. These include:

  • A user-friendly interface for uploading and downloading data
  • Automatic conversion of data to the Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) format
  • Integration with Amazon Web Services for scalable data storage and analysis
  • Tools for running reproducible analyses on the cloud
