Orange County, New York is a county located in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of New York. It is part of the New York metropolitan area and lies directly north of the state of New Jersey, west of the Hudson River, and south of the counties of Sullivan and Ulster. The county seat is Goshen, and its largest city is Newburgh. Orange County is one of the original counties of New York, established in 1683.
