Overijssel is a province located in the eastern part of the Netherlands. It is bordered by the German state of Lower Saxony to the east, the Dutch provinces of Drenthe to the north, Flevoland to the west, Gelderland to the south, and Friesland to the northwest. The capital city of Overijssel is Zwolle, and other major cities and towns include Enschede, Deventer, and Hengelo.
