Paolo Bossoni
Paolo Bossoni (born 6 July 1976 in Brescia, Italy) is a former professional road bicycle racer. He began his professional career in 1999 with the Cantina Tollo team and achieved notable success in Italian cycling, including winning the Italian National Road Race Championship in 2001. Bossoni was known for his aggressive riding style and ability to perform well in both single-day races and shorter stage races.

Bossoni's career spanned over a decade, during which he rode for several prominent teams, including Cantina Tollo, Lampre, and Tenax. His most significant victory came in 2001 when he won the Italian National Road Race Championships, showcasing his prowess as a strong sprinter and classics specialist. In addition to his national championship win, Bossoni had several other notable results, including stage wins in various international races and participations in the Giro d'Italia, where he was a competitive presence in breakaways and sprint finishes.
Throughout his career, Bossoni was also a valuable domestique, working for the benefit of his team leaders in many races. His role often involved being in breakaways to represent his team or leading out sprints for his teammates.

In 2008, Bossoni's career was overshadowed by a doping scandal. He tested positive for a banned substance, which led to a suspension from professional cycling.
