Paulyn Jean Rosell-Ubial is a Filipino physician and public health advocate who served as the Secretary of the Department of Health (DOH) in the Philippines from June 30, 2016, to October 10, 2017. Her tenure was marked by efforts to expand public health programs and improve healthcare access across the country.

Paulyn Ubial was born in Iligan City, Philippines. She pursued her medical degree at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, where she developed a strong foundation in public health and preventive medicine.
