- Payette County is a county located in the state of Idaho, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 22,623. The county seat and largest city is Payette. Payette County is part of the Ontario, OR-ID Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Boise City-Nampa, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area.

- According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 410 square miles (1,100 km2), of which 407 square miles (1,050 km2) is land and 3.4 square miles (8.8 km2) (0.8%) is water.

- Healthcare in Payette County is primarily provided by two main facilities: St. Luke's Fruitland Medical Plaza and Valor Health.
St. Luke's Fruitland Medical Plaza[edit | edit source]
- St. Luke's Fruitland Medical Plaza is a part of the larger St. Luke's Health System, which is the only Idaho-based, not-for-profit health system. The Fruitland Medical Plaza offers a wide range of services including urgent care, family medicine, pediatrics, and specialty services.

- Valor Health is an independent, community-owned healthcare organization serving the residents of Payette County. Valor Health offers a comprehensive range of services including emergency care, surgical services, and family medicine.

- As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 22,623 people, 8,463 households, and 6,007 families residing in the county. The population density was 55.6 inhabitants per square mile (21.5/km2). There were 9,117 housing units at an average density of 22.4 per square mile (8.6/km2).

- Education in Payette County is provided by the Payette School District, which operates several schools in the county including Payette High School, Payette Primary School, and Westside Elementary School.
