Peg Phillips
Peg Phillips (September 20, 1918 – November 7, 2002) was an American actress best known for her role as Ruth-Anne Miller in the television series Northern Exposure. Born Margaret Linton in Everett, Washington, Phillips pursued a career in accounting before turning to acting later in life. She graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in accounting and worked in the field for many years. It wasn't until her mid-60s, after raising four children as a single mother, that Phillips began to pursue acting seriously.

Beyond Northern Exposure, Phillips appeared in several films and television shows, including 7th Heaven, ER, and Chase. Her film credits include roles in Sanctuary and Floating Away.
