Peggie Castle

Peggie Castle (December 22, 1927 – August 11, 1973) was an American actress and television personality. She was born in Appalachia, Virginia.

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Castle began her career as a model before transitioning to acting. She made her film debut in Payment on Demand in 1951.

Career[edit | edit source]

Castle appeared in numerous films and television shows throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Some of her notable works include Beginning of the End (1957) and The Yellow Tomahawk (1954). Castle also had a successful television career, with appearances on shows such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Perry Mason.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Castle was married twice and had one child. She struggled with personal issues and substance abuse problems throughout her life.

Later Years and Death[edit | edit source]

Castle's career declined in the late 1960s, and she faced financial difficulties. She tragically passed away on August 11, 1973, at the age of 45.
